Indulge in the timeless sophistication of Nichetto Studio's designs for Ginori 1753's inaugural home extension, Domus. This exquisite collection includes luxurious lighting, furniture, and textiles that pay homage to the brand's heritage. Inspired by the Renaissance, our creations embody the pursuit of beauty and harmony, with every detail meticulously crafted.
BUILDING ON SUCCESS
The Domus collection would not have been possible without the foundation laid by our 2019 designs for Ginori's first-ever lifestyle collection of home fragrances, La Compagnia di Caterina or LCDC. After the unprecedented success of LCDC, Ginori 1735 entrusted us with not only designing their first home collection but also overseeing the entire collaboration - thus, Domus was born. When a prestigious brand like Ginori 1735 grants you complete creative freedom, you instinctively reach out to your tried-and-true partners: Barovier&Toso and Rubelli. The esteemed manufacturers have been an integral part of our journey for years, not just as consultants but also as cherished friends for over two decades. With this unrivaled professional network and personal expertise, we were empowered to assemble a dream team and offer it to Ginori 1735 to create a truly exceptional collection that transcends categories.
ELEVATING DESIGN
At Nichetto Studio, our vision goes beyond conventional design, offering a comprehensive service that surpasses expectations. Attention to detail lies at the heart of the Domus collection, and we oversaw the production of each meticulously crafted piece, leaving nothing to chance. Drawing upon our deep knowledge and network of skilled craftspeople, we embraced the rich traditions of glassmaking and the textile arts, seamlessly blending them with innovative design. Through our continuous engagement with the community, we not only refined our designs, but also contributed to the evolution and preservation of these esteemed crafts.TIMELESS TEXTILES
The result is a collection that embodies a sculptural beauty, with colors, shapes, and materials that pay homage to the past while embracing contemporary design sensibilities. Domus showcases three remarkable textiles, including the intricately designed Ondori with chinoiserie motifs, the art-inspired Saia, and the architecturally influenced Sagitta. The fourth pattern, created in collaboration with Rubelli is Oriente Italiano, a fabric that brings Ginori 1735's iconic porcelain motif to life through Rubelli's classic jacquard technique. Anchored in tradition and craftsmanship, this playful collection is a nod to Ginori 1735's history, resulting in a truly enchanting experience.CRAFTING EXTRAORDINARY EXPERIENCES
As both the creator and designer, we are filled with gratitude for the opportunity to be part of this extraordinary endeavor. This collection is not only the epitome of luxury but also a testament to Nichetto Studio's dedication and passion for crafting exceptional experiences through playful yet elegant design.Credits:
