SILK AND WOOL PRINT TESTS
The graphical pattern designed on the Print Test (2018) rug may look very familiar: the pattern represents the lines and shapes of the scheme test used to calibrate printing machines. A dense and compact silk texture creates an embossed effect that adds a tactile dimension to the visual one. Color schemes vary from a sandy and a grey scale to multi-tone versions where the elements of the pattern are gradients of the base colour.THE ROUNDNESS OF AN EDAMAME BEAN POD
Mame Bergère (2018) owes its elaborate simplicity to the roundness and unbroken lines of an edamame bean pod. “Mame”, which is precisely the Japanese for bean, is an armchair whose design aims to avoid any building elements in sight, integrating part of the cushioning system with its body shell. The comfort is enhanced by a companion ottoman.JORD, SWEDISH FOR EARTH
The modular sofa system was named Jord (2017), which means Earth in Swedish, to emphasize the low and wide structure, typical of the Italian tradition in sofas, while the palette of material and colours reveals its Scandinavian roots. We designed Jord to follow people’s different behaviours, enhancing the comfort with collapsible arms and backrests whilst still being able to add a touch of luxury with the integrated marble tables.

INTANGIBLE LIKE THE AIR
Everything about Luft (2017) vases is essential and organic to its conceiving idea, an homage to the most intangible of the four fundamental elements, air. From its name, Luft, Swedish for ‘air’, to the blow, the natural yet intentional act of the artisans in Murano which create and shape it, giving Luft its harmonic and rounded lines inspired by hot air balloons. Warm grey and dark amber yellow nuances gradually fade into transparent at the top of the vases.Credits:
