CREATIVE DIRECTION
In our ongoing partnership with Wittmann, we emphasize the significance of bridging distances through shared understanding and merging distinct design languages. This collaboration has allowed us to create collections that seamlessly fuse Viennese tradition with Italian classicism. From 2021 to 2023, Luca Nichetto served as the creative director for Wittmann, providing us with the opportunity to collaborate closely with the brand. During this period, Luca Nichetto and Nichetto Studio played a pivotal role in guiding the brand, curating a select team of designers, expanding its international presence, charting a roadmap for forthcoming product launches that will continue to define the brand's direction in the years ahead, and crafting dynamic fair stands. The partnership with Luca and Nichetto Studio has played a vital role in shaping Wittmann's forthcoming projects. Our meticulous selection of designers and facilitation of connections with Wittmann underscore our commitment to this ongoing legacy, one that will perpetually influence the brand's future endeavors.THE COLLECTION
The inaugural partnership between Wittmann and our Studio commenced in 2020 with the launch of the Nichetto Workshop Collection, an ongoing exploration into the harmonization of emotional aesthetics and functionality. Drawing inspiration from Josef Hoffmann's patterns, jewelry, and abstract geometries, this collection focuses on dining, working, and sleeping areas. To fulfill the need for continued innovation in the global market, we expanded the brand's catalog with new additions in 2022. The Tuky side table, inspired by the distinctive shape of the toucan, features a sculpture-like form with a seamless fusion of base and top. Additionally, we have introduced the Andes swivel chair, which boasts a delicately rounded metal base. Our Paradise Bird family has also grown with the addition of a full back armchair, full back sofa, and high-back chair, featuring a precisely finished upholstered curved shell in place of the original family's extravagant metal frame.
WITTMANN'S JOURNEY TO THE OUTDOORS
At the beginning of 2023, Wittmann and Ethimo collaborated to create a line of outdoor furniture, a significant milestone in Wittmann's history. Led by Luca Nichetto, the partnership aims to expand Wittmann's portfolio and offer their renowned craftsmanship in outdoor living. Instead of creating a new collection, the Paradise Bird family was evolved to reflect a commitment to continuity. The new Paradise Bird Outdoor collection includes a coffee table and pouf, a one-seater, and a two-seater, providing comfort and durability while seamlessly blending with any outdoor environment.MONUMENTAL, A BESPOKE EXHIBIT
Monumental, our bespoke interior installation, debuted at Salone del Mobile 2022. Our team envisioned and executed a truly dynamic fair stand, showcasing the brand's products as works of art. We crafted the format of the installation to be adaptable and versatile, from trade fairs to showrooms. Monumental is a grand celebration of the brand and its core values, perpetually commemorating its commitment to excellence.THE VILLAGE
For Salone del Mobile 2023, we crafted a radiant, inviting village-like ambiance within Wittmann's booth. Affectionately named 'The Village,' the name symbolizes Wittmann's journey from its humble origins in the picturesque village of Hadersdorf am Kamp to a global audience. In 'The Village,' visitors discovered distinctive 'houses,' each dedicated to specific functions and highlighting Wittmann's diverse offerings, from beloved traditional pieces to new additions for 2023. Integrated office spaces promoted community engagement. The booth seamlessly blended Viennese design-inspired colors, bathed in warm spotlights, enhancing Wittmann's handcrafted furniture and luxurious fabrics, inviting visitors to experience a harmonious residential atmosphereA LASTING IMPRESSION
With our dynamic design approach and a broad network of craftspeople, Nichetto Studio has been instrumental in shaping Wittmann's upcoming collections. We carefully selected internationally renowned designers, curated the brand's product roadmap, and facilitated connections with strategic partners. The collaboration between Nichetto Studio and Wittmann seamlessly blends innovation, functionality, and artistry, creating an engaging experience for both industry professionals and discerning enthusiasts.Credits:
