Aureola

The Aureola tea set has a curious shape, with all its elements piled up on top of one another like a totem. Designed in collaboration with Russian designer Lera Moiseeva, Aureola comprises a tea pot, a filter and two cups made from fine porcelain. Inspired by the round bowls used in Russian tea drinking and the beverage’s ceremonial function in Asia, the set encourages communal drinking. As heat travels from the centre of the set – through the tea pot to the cups – so too does the communal aura between those sharing the tea begins to expand.
