Ipe

Fusing the culture of three far-flung countries, Ipe is a pair of seating units with shared design principals. Made in Botswana from local Panga Panga wood, the Ipe seats are inspired by 1950s Italian designer Enzo Mari’s iconic Putrella tray and by the beams of Japanese temple doors. Ipe is available as a one-person stool or a longer bench. Handmade and lacquered by master artisans, Ipe’s slightly curved surface highlights the superior quality of the material.
