Located at the north of the Venetian lagoon, for centuries Murano has been a famed centre of glass-making. The Plass lampshade reinterprets this tradition in the light of new processes and materials. Named as a fusion of glass and plastic, Plass is created by rotation-moulding transparent polycarbonate. The resulting object features both the transparency of handmade glass and its natural irregularities, accentuated by the light bulb within. Plass Media is more compact version of the lamp.
