Pure Leaf Space and Iced Tea Set

As part of the PepsiCo’s ‘Mix it Up’ project at the Milan Design Week 2017, the Pure Leaf Space embodies a tradition rethought in the present, creating the settings for a modern ritual of the iced tea. The space embraces visitors with earthy wood tones and transparencies of tea glasses, displayed in repetition along the backlit walls. This creates the warm and relaxing atmosphere of the stand, a contemporary Tea House where to enjoy Pure Leaf tea using a set of objects specifically designed by Nichetto.

Moving along the lines of tradition, Luca Nichetto visualized all the details that define a new contemporary ritual around iced tea. The Pure Leaf Iced Tea Set consists in two mouth blown glasses accompanied with an ice bowl covered by a maple wood lid. A pair of double-sided 3D printed stirrers serves both as spoon and fork, to pick up the ice cubes and the slices of lemon. The set is completed by a maple wood tray, where every object conveniently finds its place in a dedicated compartment.
