DESIGN SYNERGY
Throughout our decade-long partnership with &Tradition, we've cultivated a trustworthy relationship that has afforded us the freedom to explore shapes, materials, and technologies outside the brand's original scope. Collaborating closely with their in-house team, we meticulously nurtured each project, ensuring impeccable attention to even the minutest details. This close collaboration among our teams and the diverse craftspeople involved in each project has not only yielded remarkable design outcomes but also solidified our reputation as dedicated stewards of craftsmanship and innovation.
TABATA: A SCULPTURAL BRILLIANCE
Inspired by our founder Luca Nichetto's fascination with the idea of a levitating lamp, Tabata stands as a durable masterpiece. Nichetto Studio has artfully balanced Tabata's industrial design with gentle illumination, resulting in a luminescent yet sculptural lamp for &Tradition. Comprising three intricately connected metal modules, this remarkable wall sconce offers a captivating interplay of light and shadow that enhances any space.TAKE A BITE OUT OF LATO
Crafted with a marble base, the Lato Table seamlessly blends minimalist elegance with a touch of playful charm, evoking thoughts of a caramelized apple. This exquisite table not only exudes sophistication but also boasts unwavering stability. It comes in three stunning versions, offering versatility in various heights and dimensions. Whether serving as a stylish side table or a chic coffee table, it effortlessly complements your personal space. Lato embodies Nichetto Studio's vision of a timeless piece, combining simplicity and streamlined features that are destined to captivate any room.ISLAND AND BRIDGES
Together with Nendo and inspired by Japanese poetry, we virtually co-created a modular sofa system via a process of exchanging ideas. The outcome is Isole (2017), Italian for “islands”.A sofa concept enabling a variety of combinations and configurations, including with and without an “island” arm cushion version. Variations include a discrete round, square or rectangular side table that beautifully integrates with the overall aesthetics.
SITTING ON A CLOUD
Like its meteorological namesake, the Cloud (2015) family of seating appears to float weightlessly above the ground. The pieces (ottoman, armchair, and two and three-seater sofas) all feature soft cushions atop an upholstered solid wood base, which is supported by elegant steel legs and a high back version. In 2017 we presented Cloud High back with a tall wraparound upholstered solid wood back for more privacy and sense of protection.
