We designed the La Manufacture’s showroom (2020) as a metaphorical and physical shopfront for the brand. The plan consists of a U-shaped space that is functional and intuitive, so visitors can feel comfortable right away. The shop includes zones where visitors can feel at home, try on clothes, meet people, talk and enjoy a cup of coffee. A casual and friendly atmosphere where people can just be and enjoy the moment freely.
Set in the heart of Paris, the space looks at modern architecture and interiors to render the features of a place where French and Italian tradition in design and manufacturing meet.
Placed on modular podiums or showcased in different setups, La Manufacture’s furniture are juxtaposed with a fine selection of clothing, accessories and objects, while a bar and meeting area make the showroom a lively and multi-functional environment.
As a showroom signature, The M monogram playfully reveals itself in various details of the interiors, from the shape of a totemic ceramic sculpture to the catchy fascination of neon lighting objects; between the folds of the metal drapery adorning the windows or in its dynamic repetition printed on the wallpaper.
Through a minimalist approach and an extensive attention to details, the showroom invites to fully experience an environment conceived as a concept store. Visitors are welcomed into an open space characterized by the diversity of materials and textures and their interaction with light, where each element has been specifically designed and manufactured, embodying a precious and eclectic combination of French elegance with the Made in Italy.
